VACANCY: PART-TIME RETAIL ASSISTANT
You’ll be a part of Country & Eastern - the shop for the South Asia Collection Museum. We specialise in the retail of ethically sourced crafts from South Asia and surrounding countries. We’re looking for someone to join our small friendly team.
JOB ROLE
- Serving customers, including use of till
- Responding to telephone enquiries and online orders
- Upkeep of shop displays and day-to-day housekeeping
- Will involve lifting and moving objects and shop stock. Appropriate manual handling and lifting training will be provided.
REQUIREMENTS
- Great communicator who enjoys helping customers
- Good organisational skills
- A flexible approach to tasks
- Has an interest in South Asian art and crafts
HOURS: 2/3 days or 15/22.5 hours per week
RATE OF PAY: To be discussed
