The SADACC Trust

The South Asian Decorative Arts and Crafts Collection Trust (SADACC) was founded in 2010 to record, conserve and promote the arts, crafts and cultures of South Asia.

SADACC manages The South Asia Collection museum, which contains objects and artworks from India, Pakistan, and adjacent countries such as Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Burma, Thailand, Indonesia and Central Asia, dating from the 18th century to the present.

Members of the SADACC team curate exhibitions, enact collection care and environmental monitoring procedures, run events and outreach, and conduct a number of research projects in collaboration with organisations in India and the UK.

SADACC aims to become one of the leading research centres for the study of the arts and crafts of South Asia. Alongside an active research programme, SADACC participates in archive and resource building, and collection digitization. SADACC also manage a reference library housed at The South Asia Collection.

SADACC is a registered charity (Reg. Charity No. 1137415).
