This kimono is handmade in India using traditional block printing techniques. Made entirely from cotton, this kimono is in a single size, with two large patch pockets at the front and relaxed belt fastening around the waist with external belt loops. There will be subtle irregularities in pattern and colour which is characteristic of the craft process. This makes each piece unique.

The textiles sold by Country & Eastern are handmade by traditional craft communities in India using skills and techniques like hand spinning, hand weaving, blockprinting and dyeing that have been practiced for many years. The craft process results in irregularities in pattern and colour which makes each piece unique, and most people see this as part of the character and individuality of the textiles.
Washing/Cleaning
Table linen, bedspreads, throws, cushion covers, and duvet covers – these items are mostly made from cotton. Wash separately, especially dark colours, at temperatures up to 30 degrees celsius. Use a mild non-biological detergent containing no bleach. Handwashing is preferable at least for the first few occasions.
Quilts contain cotton wadding and should be dry cleaned.
Clothing – can be made from cotton, silk or wool. Cotton garments can be washed at home separately at temperatures up to 30 degrees celsius using a mild non-biological detergent. Silk and woollen garments should be dry cleaned only.
Iron on reverse with correct temperature settings or use a steam iron.
Usage
To avoid risk of colour transfer, do not place any of the above items having dark colours on a pale surface or material, particularly where they can become wet.
Sunlight or harsh detergents will cause fading.
All items are made from natural materials and are not treated with fire resistant chemicals.Please take care to avoid the risk of fire if putting them on any upholstered furniture.
