Research Library
The South Asia Collection houses a research library with over 2500 books. The collection includes books on history, art, sculpture, living traditions, textiles, jewellery, museum collections from South Asia, South East Asia and parts of Central Asia. The collection also includes a number of rare books on the art, craft and cultural heritage of South Asia. The library also houses a number of research reports and publications that are outcomes of research projects undertaken on the collection cared for by The South Asia Collection.

How to use our library?
The library is reference-only and is part of the workspaces of The South Asia Collection. Spaces are limited and we will do our best to accommodate you for when you would like to visit.
Please make an appointment by writing to us at info@thesouthasiacollection if you would like to use our library for research purposes. We request you to include the following details while making an appointment that would help us keep the material ready for the day of your visit.
