Cabinet of Curiosity
This case is a space for curiosity. Rather than trying to tell you about the objects on display, it asks how museum objects can be used to learn more about making art. The poet Katy Mack was asked to write a number of poems about objects in The South Asia Collection. Then she sat down with our Collection Curator Ben Cartwright to talk about how the objects took on characters, what certain details made her think about, and how things can influence and shape the words we use to describe them.
