Beyond the Villages
Many Adivasi art forms in India have undergone a rapid transformation in the past sixty years. This exhibition charts the changes in painting styles as they leave their original medium, be that painted onto the walls of houses or as ritual scrolls, and become tools for a new generation of contemporary artists.
